Mercy Housing Management Group in Long Beach, CA is seeking a dedicated Janitor/Custodian to join on-site maintenance staff. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, with a pay range of $20.00–$22.00 per hour.

The successful Janitor/Custodian will work with maintenance staff to coordinate a cleaning schedule.

Pay:$20.00-$22.00/hour

Hours:40 hours/week

• Early close Fridays (3 paid hours off each Friday)
• Early close prior to a holiday (3 paid hours)

Duties

• Cleans and maintains entry lobby, including cleaning of windows, doors, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, etc., at least daily, and more if necessary, to maintain excellent entrance appeal.
• Cleans laundry room, community room, conference room, and management offices on a daily basis.
• Vacuums hallways on a daily basis.
• Cleans community bathrooms on a daily basis, more if necessary, to maintain a sanitary environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two (2) years janitorial experience.
