Job One is seeking a part-time Custodian at the Dole Federal Courthouse in Kansas City, KS. The roles include cleaning according to daily, weekly, and monthly schedules, with hours 7:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:30-6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Pay is $16.95 per hour, with some health and dental reimbursement for employees. Requirements include a high school diploma or certificate, prior custodial experience preferred, and the ability to pass a federal background check.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Follows and completes the site's daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule.
• Collects and bags all garbage from the site, placing the tied bags in a closed dumpster.
• Washes and sanitizes bathrooms fixtures daily with germicidal solution.
• Using germicidal solution, wet mops all washable floors including kitchen, bathroom, office and classroom.
• Washes windows (inside and outside) and walls using germicidal solution as scheduled or needed.
• Vacuums all carpeting.
• Sweeps and clears entrance spaces.

Pay: $16.95 per hour

POSITION SUMMARY
Located at the Dole Federal Courthouse (500 State Avenue, Kansas City, KS). We have two part-time positions available: Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:30-6:30 p.m. and pays $16.95/hour, some health and dental reimbursement included for employee. Documentation of qualifying disability is required for this position upon hire. The Custodian has the primary responsibility for cleaning the site in such a way to promote health and safety while reducing the spread of infection. It is the role of the custodian to follow daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedules by site. Additional duties may include general building and ground maintenance, snow removal, laundry, etc. Must be able to pass a federal background check for this contract.
EDUCATION
High school diploma/certificate generally required. It is preferred that the Custodian have training in the custodial field.
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the custodial field desirable and Knowledge of proper cleaning methods preferred.

Must pass body mechanics training prior to hire
Must be able to lift and move up to 40 lbs.
