Job summary

Webasto Group in Lexington, KY is hiring for second shift janitorial staff to support a Tier 1 automotive facility. You will clean production floors, offices, and restrooms, sweeping, mopping, disinfecting, and restocking supplies while following safety guidelines.

The role requires independent work, reliability, and physical stamina to stand, walk, lift, and perform tasks during the 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM shift.

Qualifications

• Reliable team member with a track record of good attendance and punctuality.
• Attention to detail in cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking areas.
• Ability to work independently and follow established procedures in a manufacturing setting.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and stand for extended periods.
• Comfort with routine cleaning tasks and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain production floors, offices, restrooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum to ensure a safe, organized environment.
• Disinfect restrooms and high-touch surfaces per safety standards.
• Empty trash, recycle bins, and follow waste procedures.
• Restock restroom and cafeteria supplies as needed; report safety hazards.

You can look forward to these exciting tasks

• Cleaning and maintaining production floors, offices, restrooms, and common areas within a Tier 1 automotive facility
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and vacuuming to ensure a safe and organized environment
• Disinfecting restrooms, break areas, and high-touch surfaces in line with safety standards
• Emptying trash and recycling bins and following proper waste procedures
• Restocking restroom and cafeteria supplies as needed
• Identifying and reporting safety hazards or maintenance concerns
• Working independently on second shift (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM) to support overall plant operations
