Job summary

Didlake, Inc. seeks a conscientious Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will clean offices, restrooms, and common spaces to keep areas orderly, sanitary, and presentable.

Schedule: 6:30am–3:00pm, Full-time, $17.75 per hour. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED (or six months custodial experience), ability to obtain required credentials, a valid Real ID, and a valid driver's license with at least 3 years of licensed driving and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, or six (6) months of custodial experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required credentials/background checks.
• Must have a valid Real Id for access to the work site.
• Have a valid driver's license and be insurable under Didlake's automobile policy. Requirements include but are not limited to a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving and being at least 25 years old.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain work areas, restrooms, and common spaces.
• Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors with appropriate tools.
• Vacuum rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
• Dust and polish furniture, equipment, fixtures, and metalwork.
• Wash walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, and sills.
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Replenish restroom supplies and maintain clean fixtures.
• Follow safety standards and procedures when using equipment.
• Report maintenance issues to supervisor and requisition supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with your team and demonstrate positive conduct and professionalism.
• Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Do

• Empty wastebaskets, ashtrays, and transport trash to disposal areas.
• Replenish restroom supplies and maintain clean restroom fixtures, floors, and walls.
• Follow safety standards and procedures when using equipment and performing tasks.
• Report maintenance issues or damage to your supervisor and requisition supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with your team and demonstrate positive conduct and professionalism.
• Complete required training and perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• High School diploma or GED, or six (6) months of custodial experience.
