The Janitor independently cleans restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, kitchenettes, showers, stairwells, corridors and other work areas, performing sweeping, mopping and surface cleaning. Duties include removing trash, recycling materials, dusting furniture, polishing metal fixtures, replenishing supplies, washing walls, emptying wastebaskets, and following all safety standards.

Duties involve a combination of the following: sweeping, mopping floors; removing trash and other materials for recycling; dusting furniture or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; replenishing restroom supplies.
