Job summary

Controlled Contamination Services is seeking a full-time janitor to perform interior cleaning of facilities, lobbies, and restrooms in Henrico, VA. The role requires adherence to contract requirements and safety policies.

You will vacuum, mop, strip and wax floors, dust surfaces, clean glass, sanitize areas, and report hazards or damages to supervision. A High School diploma or GED is preferred, with 1 year of related experience considered acceptable. This is a night shift position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1 year related experience.
• Ability to add/subtract in basic calculations and use US measurement units.

Responsibilities

• Pick up trash and replace liners.
• Vacuum, mop, strip and wax, and sweep all floor areas.
• Dust, spot walls, clean glass, polish, sanitize all areas.
• Wash, wipe down, rinse, disinfect assigned work areas.
• Note and report repair needs or hazards to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules and procedures; report property damage or unsafe conditions.
