Job summary

CorTech International in Vernon, CA is seeking a dedicated Janitor / Sanitation associate for the 2nd shift. You will perform routine cleaning of restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and general facility areas, using commercial equipment and following safety protocols.

The role requires flexibility for overtime and weekends, and the ability to work in cold/freezer environments and around raw meat products. Immediate consideration for reliable transport and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Recent janitorial, cleaning or housekeeping experience.
• Open to cleaning all areas of the warehouse and offices.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work overtime & weekends as needed.
• Must be able to work in a cold/freezer environment and around raw meat products.

Responsibilities

• Clean restrooms and maintain supplies stocked.
• Keep breakroom, offices, and common areas clean and stocked.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across facility areas.
• Clean kitchens and other areas according to protocols.
• Operate cleaning equipment safely and follow safety PPE procedures.
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled.

Job Description: Growing meat processing company located in Vernon is seeking a dedicated Janitor / Sanitation associate to join our team for the 2nd shift.

Monday - Saturday

2nd Shift - 12pm start time

Duties include:

• Cleaning restrooms and maintaining supplies stocked
• Maintaining the breakroom clean and stocked
• Cleaning office areas
• Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across all facility areas
• Clean restrooms, kitchens, and common areas according to established protocols
• Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
• Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment as required
• Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as scheduled or needed
• Ensure all work areas are kept organized, stocked with necessary supplies, and hazard-free

Requirements:

• Available to work overtime & weekends as needed
• Ability to work in a cold/freezer environment
• Ability to work around raw meat products
