Qualifications

• 6+ months of general sanitation, cleaning and/or janitorial work experience in a warehouse environment.
• Experience with PIT, hazardous chemicals, and bale machines.
• Must pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and safety according to company policies.
• Report unsafe conditions or acts immediately.
• Perform cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, and mopping.
• Handle cleaning chemicals as directed.
• Operate pallet jack to transport refuse/trash.
• Complete assignments timely and accurately.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Details

• Pay $17.00 per hour
• Monday–Friday
• 3:00 a.m. Start Time

Position Purpose

We value the safety and health of our associates! The Janitor ensures the health and safety of all our associates by always maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The Janitor performs general janitorial, cleaning, and sanitation related job tasks in the warehouse facility, including dry, cooler and freezer areas. May perform similar duties in office areas as assigned.

Primary Responsibilities

• Completes all work according to company health and safety policies and guidelines.
• Reports all unsafe conditions or unsafe acts immediately to ensure safety of all associates.
• Performs cleaning duties as assigned including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash pickup and related janitorial tasks.
• Handles all cleaning chemicals as directed in hazmat material sheets. Timely and accurate completion of all assigned safety training modules.
• May require operation of pallet jack to transport refuse/trash to appropriate receptacles.
• Completes all assignments timely and accurately.
• May be required to work with cleaning chemicals.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
