Job summary

• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks as assigned.

• Courteous to the public and county employees; maintain safety.
• Able to work occasional weekends and after hours; typical shift 5am–2pm, with overtime to 5pm as needed.
• Considerable custodial experience; safe handling and labeling of cleaning products.
• Knowledge of floor care including stripping, waxing, and burnishing; terrazzo and Fritz tile knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, scrub, mop, wax, and polish floors; dust and polish furniture; empty wastebaskets and vacuum floors.
• Replace burned-out light bulbs and keep restrooms clean and sanitary.
