Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. in St. Johns, MI is seeking a Quality Assurance Team Leader to oversee housekeeping and site compliance within a dairy processing facility.

You will manage daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks, lead a team, uphold GMP and safety standards, and support continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence.
• Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skill.

Responsibilities

• Maintains housekeeping of facility welfare, offices, and support areas.
• Responsible for periodic (daily, weekly, and monthly as scheduled) cleaning/housekeeping of: First Aid Room, Main Office Complex, Employee Break Rooms, Employee Locker Rooms, Employee Entrance Area, OfficeArea, Milk Receiving, Cheese, Whey, Maintenance, and Warehouse Offices and Welfare Areas, Laboratory and Lab Offices, Office Windows.
• Stocks supplies, monitor levels, prepare an order list for cleaning supplies, GMP gear, and disposable hearing protection.
• Performs special tasks as directed by management.
• Keeps records in accordance with the good manufacturing process and local and state laws.
• Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance).
• Participates in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
