Job summary

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
• Empty and sanitize trash and recycling bins.
• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout the facility.
• Clean and disinfect common areas such as lunchrooms, break areas, and offices.
• Dust and wipe down surfaces in offices, meeting rooms, and workstations.
• Restock supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
• Respond promptly to spills and clean them safely.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs.
• Monitor the facility and report any maintenance or repair needs.

Areas of Responsibility / Tasks

Performance must reflect appropriate level of expertise and achievement of the desired results for the items listed below:

Maintains a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing facility by performing routine cleaning of floors, work areas, restrooms, and common spaces; supporting equipment and production area hygiene; following safety and compliance guidelines; managing cleaning supplies; and coordinating with teams to ensure minimal disruption to operations.

Essential Functions

1. Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.
2. Empty and sanitize trash and recycling bins.
3. Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors throughout the facility.
4. Clean and disinfect common areas such as lunchrooms, break areas, and offices.
5. Dust and wipe down surfaces in offices, meeting rooms, and workstations.
6. Restock supplies, including toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
7. Clean windows and glass surfaces.
8. Respond promptly to spills and clean them safely.
9. Perform minor maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs.
10. Monitor the facility and report any maintenance or repair needs.
11. Follow plant Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
12. Assist other employees with specific tasks as requested.
13. Perform other tasks as assigned.
