Job Title: Janitor

Working location: Joint Expeditionary Base/Little Creek

Hourly rate: $17.75/hr

Job Description

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in factory work areas, washrooms, and other premises such as offices, apartments, or commercial establishments. Responsibilities include:

1. Cleaning and maintaining the cleanliness of work areas and washrooms.
2. Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using appropriate equipment.
3. Cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies with vacuum cleaners.
4. Dusting furniture and equipment.
5. Polishing metal fixtures and fittings.
6. Washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
7. Cleaning windows, door panels, and sills.
8. Emptying wastebaskets and cleaning ashtrays.
9. Transporting trash and refuse to disposal areas.
10. Cleaning restroom fixtures, floors, and walls, and replenishing supplies.
11. Working collaboratively with a positive team spirit to produce quality work.
12. Maintaining appropriate conduct and demeanor as per Didlake policy.
13. Following safety standards and guidelines for equipment use and activities.
14. Completing and maintaining all required Didlake training.
