Job summary

Red Cedar Solutions, LLC is seeking staff for a janitorial contract at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst. Duties include sweeping, mopping, polishing floors, trash removal, dusting, restroom cleansing, and supplies provisioning.

Inspect facilities for operational issues and ensure rooms are ready for occupancy, with outgoing rooms checked for safety and cleanliness. Requirements include a High school diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver's License.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with janitorial tasks is not specified but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop or scrub and polish floors; remove trash and refuse.
• Dust equipment, furniture and fixtures; polish metal fixtures or trimmings.
• Provide supplies and clean lavatories, showers and restrooms when required.
• Inspect facility for lights, appliances, doors and furniture; report discrepancies.
• Ensure dormitories/rooms are ready for occupancy and inspect incoming/outgoing units for safety and cleanliness.
• Move, remove or replace furniture, mattresses and appliances as needed.

Provide supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms when required. Inspect facility for proper operation of lights, appliances, doors and furniture, report or replace discrepancies found. Ensure dormitories and rooms are ready and available for occupancy and inspect rooms and facilities with incoming and outgoing units to ensure facilities are in a safe and serviceable condition. Remove and replace furniture, mattresses and appliances as needed.
