Job summary

New England Wire Technologies in Lisbon, NH is seeking a janitorial worker to perform general cleaning on the production floor and in office areas. Duties include mopping, sweeping, trash removal, vacuuming, floor waxing, restroom and window cleaning, and related tasks as required.

Hours are Mon-Thu 5PM-1AM and Fri 3PM-11PM. The candidate should be detail oriented, able to solve problems, and able to lift moderate to heavy weight. This is a Regular FT nonexempt position.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented individual with good manual dexterity.
• Able to solve problems and follow instructions.
• Capable of lifting moderate to heavy weight and being on feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform general janitorial duties on production floor and office areas including mopping, sweeping, trash removal, vacuuming, floor stripping, restroom cleaning, windows, and walls.
• Work hours: Mon-Thu 5PM-1AM and Fri 3PM-11PM.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas to support production operations.

Description

Candidate will be responsible for the performance of general janitorial duties on the production floor and the office areas. Duties include, but are not limited to mopping, sweeping, removal of trash, vacuuming, floor wax stripping, cleaning restrooms, washing windows and walls, and other related duties as required.

Hours: Monday-Thursday from 5PM-1AM and Friday from 3PM-11PM.

Requirements

The candidate must be detail oriented, have the ability to solve problems and have good manual dexterity. The candidate must be able to work overhead for long periods of time, be on their feet for the duration of their shift and lift moderate to heavy weight material.
