Southwire Company is seeking a dependable Custodian for a 2:30PM–10:30PM shift at our Kentucky site. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, offices, and manufacturing spaces, with routine floor care and waste disposal.

A High School Diploma or GED is required, and English literacy is essential to understand work instructions. The position offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth within a large manufacturing organization.

• Has prior custodial duties experience and can operate cleaning equipment safely.

Responsabilidades

• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, common spaces, and manufacturing spaces.
• Cleans, mops, washes, buffs, and vacuums floors.
• Empties trash and recycling materials.
• Maintains outside walk areas, including salting walkways, shoveling, sweeping debris and washing.
• Assists with setup and teardown for meetings and events.
• Light painting and small facility repairs as needed.

Pay Rate:$16.64– $19.24

Job Description

Qualifications and Experience Requirements

• 8 hrs. shift weekdays working evening/night hours
• Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms, breakrooms, offices, common spaces, and manufacturing spaces
• Cleans, mops, washes, buffs, and vacuums floors.
• Empties trash and recycling materials
• Maintains outside walk areas, including salting walkways, shoveling, sweeping debris and washing.
• Cleans and polishes fixtures, windows, and furniture.
• Tracks and orders custodial supplies.
• Assists with setup and teardown from meetings and other events.
• Light painting and other small simple facility repair as needed.
• Will handle a variety of general chemicals used for cleaning
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience with custodial duties and ability to operate equipment safely
• Must be able to read and understand English to be able to communicate with Supervision and comprehend work instructions.
• Continuous standing and walking throughout the entire shift; regular lifting/moving up to 40 pounds. Frequent pulling, pushing and bending.
