The Janitor is responsible for performing custodial duties, minor maintenance, and other miscellaneous duties to ensure that Lancaster Archery Supply facilities are maintained in a clean, inviting, and comfortable environment for each customer.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas of all buildings.
2. Clean offices, conference rooms, and range facilities.
3. Mop tile and concrete floor areas, with proper safety precautions.
4. Vacuum all carpeted areas.
5. Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchens.
6. Clean all mirrors.
7. Replenish toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap as needed.
8. Empty all waste baskets and garbage cans.
9. Place garbage in outside storage bin.
10. Clean entrances and exits including glass, doors, and hardware.
11. Maintain a neat and orderly janitor's room; ensure cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
12. Clean, wash, and disinfect drinking fountains/water coolers.
13. Perform and/or report minor maintenance repairs.
14. Report damages and acts of vandalism.
15. Be knowledgeable of safety hazards and proper use of various cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
16. Be detail-oriented and thorough.
17. Maintain the facilities in a clean and orderly manner.
18. Be self-motivated.
19. Must pass drug test as required by company policy.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.
