Job summary

Position Summary:

Ensure property is maintained in a clean and organized manner at all times.

Essential Responsibilities

• Participate in regular staff meetings.
• Dusting (Furniture, Window Seals, Vents, etc.).
• Sweeping and mopping (Non-carpeted Areas).
• Vacuuming (Offices, Hallways).
• Washing windows.
• Clean and disinfect the Kitchen as needed.
• Daily cleaning of toilets, urinals, sinks, and porcelain fixtures.
• Empty trash receptacles daily.
• Inform Office Manager when supplies need to be ordered.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, including monthly car washes.
• General property maintenance when needed.
• Complete Work Orders as they arise.
• Assist Summer Lunch Bunch Coordinator with summer program needs, including site prep, running sites, and paperwork.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

• Kettle Season assistance, including helping as a Christmas Driver, supporting fundraising activities, delivering kettles and supplies, and organizing kettles for next day.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent training/experience.
• Office building cleaning experience preferred.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

• Ability to drive and handle Salvation Army vehicles.
• Knowledge of cleaning machinery and chemicals.
• Organizational skills for equipment and supplies.
• Availability for after-hours building security and emergency procedures.

Computer Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, TEAMS, and SharePoint.
• Willingness to learn new software.

Certificates and Licenses:

• Completion of Safe From Harm training.
• Valid chauffeur’s license and pass MVR check or obtain within 30 days.
• Current ServSafe certification or obtain within 60 days.
