IntegriWard, LLC is seeking a dependable janitor/custodian to perform daily cleaning of offices and facilities in Honolulu, HI. Responsibilities include floor care, restroom sanitation, trash removal, window cleaning, and ensuring a safe, compliant work environment.

The role requires experience in janitorial services, ability to operate equipment, adherence to OSHA, and passing a background check and drug screening. Work three days a week (Mon, Wed, Fri) in a government-related setting.

Qualifications

• Stock consumables in restrooms.
• Dust and clean furniture, countertops, windowsills, and office equipment.
• Spot-clean walls, baseboards, doors, and fixtures.
• Clean blinds and windows; wash exterior windows.
• Clean water fountains and wipe surfaces in restrooms.
• Clean surfaces and floors of vertical transportation.
• Spot-clean spills and hazards; maintain safe work environment.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY

Performs janitorial/custodial duties as described in the contract and directed by the Project Manager. Responsible for the general cleaning of all floors, surfaces, restrooms, windows, vertical transportation, interior glass, waste management and disposal. This work is to be performed three days each week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure that floors, carpets, rugs, and mats are free of dirt, dust build-up, and other debris by sweeping, mopping (monthly), waxing (annually) and vacuuming.
• Perform annual rug cleaning.
• Empty trash cans in office space and restrooms and replace trash liners/bags. Take all collected trash to the dumpster.
• Clean and disinfect restroom fixtures and surfaces.
• Stock consumable supplies in restrooms.
• Perform dusting and cleaning of furniture, countertops, windowsills, ledges, office equipment, etc.
• Spot cleaning of walls, partitions, baseboards, doors, floors and fixtures.
• Clean office blinds and wipe down windows.
• Clean outside windows.
• Clean/wipe down water fountain.
• Clean surface areas and floors of vertical transportation.
• Clean spills and other hazards with appropriate equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment and comply with all applicable security and safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• High school diploma or equivalent General Educational Development (GED) Certificate.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Janitor or Custodian.
• Knowledge of standard janitorial service methods, practices and techniques used in an industrial or commercial environment, and preferably in a government related environment.
• Ability to operate janitorial equipment and machinery in accordance with government standards.
• Must be able to perform job duties independently and without direct supervision.
• Plan and organize work to meet internal and customer established timelines and deadlines.
• Must have a working knowledge and comply with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and driving history must meet company standards throughout employment.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check as a condition of employment and to obtain access to federal installations.
