Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial, custodial, housekeeping or facility maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Very good attention to detail and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors in warehouse, office, restroom and common areas.
• Empty trash and ensure proper waste disposal per procedures.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms and shared spaces.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, doors, fixtures and equipment to maintain clean appearance.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and notify when replenishment is needed.
• Operate cleaning equipment following safety procedures.
• Maintain exterior areas like entrances, sidewalks and parking lots.
• Respond to spills and hazards to maintain a safe workplace.
• Assist with special cleaning projects and facility improvement efforts.
• Follow all safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and vacuum floors throughout warehouse, office, restroom, and common areas.


• Empty trash receptacles, recycling containers, and compactors; ensure proper waste disposal in accordance with company procedures.


• Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, and other shared spaces.


• Dust and wipe down surfaces, doors, railings, fixtures, and equipment to maintain a clean and professional appearance.


• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.


• Operate cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, buffers, and pressure washers, following proper training and safety procedures.


• Maintain exterior areas, including entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and loading docks, ensuring they remain clean, organized, and free of debris.


• Respond promptly to spills, leaks, and other safety hazards to minimize risk and maintain a safe working environment.


• Assist with special projects, seasonal cleaning initiatives, deep-cleaning assignments, and facility improvement efforts.


• Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.


• Support the overall cleanliness, appearance, and functionality of the distribution center.


• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications And Experience

• Experience/Qualifications Required:


• Previous janitorial, custodial, housekeeping, or facility maintenance experience preferred, particularly within warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environments.


• Knowledge of the safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and sanitation practices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and lifting.
