Job summary

Ironform is seeking a Janitor in Decatur, TX to perform detailed cleaning on the production floor, offices, and surrounding areas. The role supports a fast-growing manufacturing plant and offers competitive pay and benefits after 30 days.

Typical duties include restroom cleaning, floor care, trash removal, and restocking, with overtime and potential advancement opportunities. Physical stamina and a willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled, noisy environment are required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age (required at all locations).
• High School diploma or GED (required at all locations).
• Previous manufacturing experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Clean every surface in all restrooms and restock restrooms.
• Wax, wash, buff, sweep, vacuum, etc. every floor surface in and around the plant as needed including administrative offices, production floor, restrooms, break areas, and outside facilities.
• Empty all trashcans, barrels, and carts.
• Restock wherever necessary
• Clean compactor area
• Willingness to assist in other areas as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Job Responsibilities:

• Wax, wash, buff, sweep, vacuum, etc. every floor surface in and around the plant as needed including administrative offices, production floor, restrooms, break areas, and outside facilities

• Frequent overhead reaching and reaching with both hands
• Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or maneuvering loads up to 50 lbs
• Able to wear and tolerate Personal Protective Equipment (apparel and devices)
• Vision acuity, corrected or uncorrected, capable of reading documents, blueprints, gauges, equipment settings, calibration instruments, parts labels and written materials
• Reliable to come to work every day and be on-time
• Flexible work availability, including Overtime during the week and weekends
