Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a dedicated janitor for first shift to maintain cleanliness in a production facility. You will clean production areas, break rooms, restrooms, and entryways, ensuring floors are swept, mopped, and sanitized to support a safe work environment.

Applicants should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work well in a team, and be at least 18 years of age. Overtime and occasional cross-department duties may be required; benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Must have good communication, math, reading and writing skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production, manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize break rooms, restrooms, and entryways.
• Empty trash and replace liners; refill supplies in restrooms and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and maintain equipment.
• Report maintenance or safety issues to Facilities Supervisor.
• May work overtime or in other departments as needed.

1st Shift Only!The janitor assists in all phases of the plant cleaning processEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Clean and sanitize break rooms, including tables, counters, microwaves, refrigerators, and floors.Empty trash receptacles throughout the facility and replace liners as needed.Refill supplies such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap dispensers, and other consumables in restrooms and common areas.Clean and disinfect restrooms, including toilets, sinks, mirrors, and floors.Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated areas.Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to the Facilities Supervisor.Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good working condition.Follow all safety and sanitation policies and procedures.Cleaning departments such as;- RTE/RAW/CB/MAINTENANCE/WAREHOUSE/SUPPORT CENTER(SCHOOL)/QA LAB RESTROOMS/MAIN ENTRY WAY AND OUTSIDE AREAS/SUPPLIESWork Environment:Production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays, or the possibility of working in another department as needed.Physical Requirements:Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)Walk on slippery wet surfaces.Hand/eye coordination.Handling (holding, grasping).Seeing/depth perception.Walk/stand 100% of shift.Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.Occasionally required to reach at/or above shoulder level.Occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.Repetitive motions and movements throughout the scheduled shift.Perform other duties as assigned.Total Rewards & Benefits:Company Paid BenefitsEmployee Paid BenefitsCompensation PackageTeam Member Well-BeingRewards and RecognitionPunctual and good attendance.Good communication, math, read and writing skills.Able to complete Quality, Safety trainingAble to work at a fast pace, repetitive and work environmentAbility to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce.Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.Quality, safety-minded, reliable, precise, and self-motivated.Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.Able to lift up to 50lbs, twisting, turning, and bending.MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER
