Job summary

The Association for Individual Development (AID) seeks an experienced Jan-Aid Crew Leader for Thompson Center Community Services in Aurora, IL. This part-time role covers 20 hours per week on a 2nd shift, with schedule Monday–Friday 3pm–8pm and some flexibility.

You will lead a cleaning crew, train and coach staff, document progress, coordinate transportation, and ensure safety. Requirements include High School diploma, at least one year cleaning or disability-facing experience, CPR/First Aid,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of cleaning experience or experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Must complete in-service trainings as required.
• CPR, First Aid, Non-violent Intervention, and OIG-Rule 50 certifications required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Illinois driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise people with disabilities in janitorial cleaning skills.
• Maintain assigned buildings to levels specified on task sheet by inspecting work to assure quality.
• Perform work tasks parallel with crew to provide a role model.
• Enforce safety, security, and other rules, regulations, and procedures at assigned worksites.
• Know work related aspects of client’s training and employment plans.
• Report and document client progress to casemanager.
• Report incident of client misconduct or violations of work rules to casemanager or manager.
• Respond to customer concerns from inspections, surveys, and communication log.
• Perform all paperwork duties as assigned.
• Perform electronic client payroll.
• Perform electronic punch-in/out for attendance.
• Keep updated in First Aid, CPR, and CPI, and OIG Rule50.
