Job summary

The City of Midwest City Police Department is accepting applications for a Jailor responsible for booking, care and release of prisoners and maintaining jail security. A high school diploma or GED is required; yearly CPR, First Aid, Jail School and Livescan & Intoxilyzer certifications are required; a valid Oklahoma driver license and insurability are also required.

This safety/security sensitive role includes pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening.

Must obtain yearly certification in CPR, First Aid, Jail school and Livescan & Intoxilyzer certification. Must possess valid OK. driver license & be insurable. This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening. Starting Salary: $21.5855/hr. w/benefits.
