Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate services for incarcerated individuals with complex behavioral health needs. You will review needs, develop individualized release plans, and coordinate access to mental health, housing, health care, and trauma-focused services.

You will work with corrections officers, jail medical staff, and community partners, analyze program operations, and prepare technical reports while maintaining regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in social work, counseling, mental health, behavioral sciences, or related field with required experience.
• Experience working with persons with legal system involvement is required.
• Ability to obtain credentials and clearances as applicable.
• Must have transcripts and degree verification at hire.
• Ability to work in secured jail environments and follow a chain of command.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate direct services for incarcerated people with acute and complex behavioral health needs.
• Review individual needs and barriers; develop collaborative release plans.
• Coordinate access to mental health, substance use, housing, health care, and trauma-focused services.
• Collaborate with corrections officers, jail staff, and community partners.
• Analyze administrative, fiscal, and program operations; prepare technical reports.
