Job summary

Maricopa County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Food Service Shift Supervisor to direct daily operations of a jail kitchen unit and ensure USDA, FDA and HACCP compliance.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of high-volume food preparation, and 1 year in a lead or supervisory role. Successful applicants must pass a background review and possess a valid Arizona driver's license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years high-volume food prep experience.
• 1 year lead/supervisory experience in high-volume food service.

Responsibilities

• Provides first line supervision for Food Service Workers, Detention Officers and working inmates.
• Reviews, determines and prepares working schedules and priorities of duties within Division, and reviews time off requests and approves time in the Workday payroll system.
• Directs the preparation of inmate meals ensuring quality and compliance with health and sanitation standards.
