Job summary

Lane County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Maintenance Specialist to perform maintenance and repair work on large building systems, including operation, monitoring, adjustment and repair. Work may include carpentry, electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks as needed.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, two years of building maintenance experience, and a valid driver's license (Oregon license by time of appointment). Some overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; twelfth grade completion.
• Additional specialized training in plumbing, carpentry, electrical or HVAC desirable.
• Two years of responsible building maintenance experience preferred.
• Must have valid driver's license with Oregon license by time of appointment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair large building systems, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC tasks.
• Operate, monitor, adjust and repair equipment as needed.
• Occasional overtime may be required; schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm.
