Farmer Focus is seeking a Jack Operator for our AcornFacility in Virginia. The role involves safely moving product with pallet jacks, picking orders for shipment, and supporting plant operations in a clean, safe environment.
The position is on-site with a 2nd shift, reporting to the Production Supervisor. Applicants should be able to work in a poultry production setting, pass drug/alcohol screening post-offer, and be authorized to work in the United States.

The Jack Driver is responsible for safely moving product in and out of coolers, freezers, and various areas of the plant using electric and/or manual pallet jacks. This role supports production, shipping, and plant operations by accurately picking, transporting, assembling, repacking, weighing, and staging orders while maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe work area.

New team members must be able to pass a drug and alcoholpost-offer and prior to the start of their employment. Must be authorized to work in the United States. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of their third day of work.
This position is required to access the poultry production environment and must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, damp, cold, and chilled conditions within the plant. The role requires constant walking throughout the plant to pick up and deliver products, as well as frequent standing and bending. Team members must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs. Hearing and eye protective equipment are required in production areas, and team members are required to wear hair and beard nets where applicable. This role is on-site and does not require travel.
