Job summary

Ovation Fertility in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to contribute to IVF processes and patient care. You will work with embryologists and support the lab and office operations in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree and strong organizational skills, with experience in EMR systems. The role may involve occasional weekend work and requires flexibility and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Associates degree required; Bachelors degree in a Life Science focus area preferred.
• Prior laboratory experience is preferred.
• Experience in a medical office facility and using EMR systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment following SOPs, directives, and health and safety guidelines.
• Maintain flexibility for working hours as IVF processes are time-dependent; some weekend work may be required.
• Assist embryologists with IVF processes as directed by Senior Embryologists.
• Assist with andrology procedures such as IUI preparation and semen analysis; handle shipping/receiving of frozen specimens.
• Maintain data records for media, oocyte collection, and embryo production.
