Job summary

IV Nutrition, LLC is seeking an IV Technician to administer intravenous vitamins and nutrients, monitor patient responses, and ensure safe, effective therapy within a clinical setting.

The role requires credentialing as RN/EMT/Paramedic/LPN or equivalent, strong venous access skills, and proficiency with EMR and medical terminology. Clinical duties include vitals, infection control, and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as either an RN, EMT, Paramedic, ADN or LPN.
• Knowledge of Medical Terminology and EMR systems.
• Strong venous access skills and ability to access peripheral veins.

Responsibilities

• Administer IVs and run fluid therapy.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment.
• Manage and prevent infections.
• Assess patient health including vitals and physical/mental status.
• Identify contraindications to IV therapy.
• Take patient vitals as needed.
• Document interactions and communication with patients regarding therapy.
