SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Columbus, OH is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to perform sterile IV compounding, order fulfillment, and equipment maintenance. You will work 2:30pm-11pm, Monday–Friday, with every other weekend, and contribute to safe, efficient pharmacy operations.

You should have a high school diploma, basic computer skills, and strong English communication. Prior pharmacy tech experience, especially in sterile compounding, is preferred.

Formación

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer knowledge and skills required.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology, math, and analytical skills.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred, with sterile compounding experience being an advantage.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written English.

Responsabilidades

• Fill IV orders, including mixing IV medications, and applying sterile techniques.
• Send supplies and equipment to facilities.
• Maintain accurate IV mixing records.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance checks on equipment.
• Clean and calibrate infusion pumps.
• Check inventory and fill out supplies reorder form.
• Complete technician assignments as requested by pharmacy management.
• Maintain IV pharmacy equipment and supplies in the equipment rental log.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are practiced and adhered to.
• Participate in projects to identify and implement operational improvements.
• Collaborate with others in a positive and productive manner.
