Job summary

A hospital near Columbus, Ohio is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join its inpatient pharmacy team. You will assist licensed pharmacists, prepare and distribute medications, and support medication safety in a collaborative healthcare environment.

The role requires current Ohio registration and PTCB certification (or commitment to obtain within one year). Expect 4 days a week, 10-hour shifts, with weekends 1 per month and 1-2 holidays per year, plus a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Ohio Pharmacy Technician registration.
• PTCB Certification (CPhT) or must become certified within one year.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed pharmacists in providing healthcare and medications.
• Support medication preparation and distribution.
• Maintain drug inventory and patient records.
• Order, receive, and stock pharmacy medications.
• Perform IV compounding and Pyxis filling.
• Adhere to policies, regulations, and professional standards.
• Work under direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Conduct medication histories and assist with restocking.
