Central Admixture Pharmacy in Chicago is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for sterile IV compounding. You will prepare compounded sterile products under the direction of a pharmacist and support the compounding room setup, equipment, and supplies while ensuring aseptic technique.

The role requires an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license, preferably a national certification, a high school diploma, and 0-2 years of related experience.

Formación

• REQUIRED: Pharmacy Technician License issued by the Illinois Board of Pharmacy.
• PREFERRED: National Pharmacy Certification through PTCB or NHA ExCPT.
• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent required.
• 0-02 years related experience required.
• cGMP training/experience desired, training will be provided.
• Aseptic processing training/experience desired, training will be provided.

Responsabilidades

• Adheres to all CAPS policies and procedures.
• Prepares compounded sterile products using aseptic technique.
• Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for preparation of compounded sterile solutions, using aseptic technique.
• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed.
• Participates in cleanroom product introduction activities.
• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing.
