Job summary

PharMerica is hiring a full-time Pharmacy IV Technician in Colorado Springs, CO. You’ll join a closed-door, non-retail pharmacy team serving long-term care and senior living clients, with opportunities for growth and ongoing training.

This role requires IV experience, a state license, and strong attention to detail. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, tuition discounts, and more. Work hours vary with some weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• 6 months – 1 year IV Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Ability to operate a computer; recognize and identify medications.
• Detail oriented; goal oriented, team player, and effective oral communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Sterile Compounding Room in accordance with USP 797 and state standards; prepare sterile preparations.
• Prepare and fill prescriptions for long-term care residents per policy.
• Support QA processes and ensure documentation compliance.
• Assist pharmacists with data entry, refill coordination, and communication with nursing homes.
• Stage, prepare, and fill medication orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain and clean infusion pumps and other sterile equipment; ensure calibration and safety.
