Job summary

Remedi SeniorCare is seeking an IV Pharmacy Technician to support sterile compounding and IV admixture with strict adherence to USP 797 standards. This onsite role at our Troy, OH facility involves maintaining cleanroom standards, managing IV records and inventory, and providing documentation support to pharmacists and supervisors.

The position emphasizes teamwork, accuracy in calculations, and compliance with safety policies while contributing to patient-centered pharmacy services in long-term

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Current National/State Pharmacy Certification preferred.
• Computer knowledge skills required, must understand medical terminology, math and analytical skills.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Remedi’s Code of Conduct and Compliance policies and report violations.
• Fill IV orders including mixing IV medications and calculating doses.
• Send supplies and equipment to facilities.
• Maintain all IV mixing records.
• Perform regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
• Program infusion pumps and data entry of IV orders.
• Order supplies from vendors and perform other tasks as required.
• Assist with technician assignments and maintain IV equipment logs.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services.
