Job summary

JobRx, Inc. seeks a dedicated Full-time Pharmacy Technician in Holmdel, NJ to support medication preparation, dispensing, and pharmacy operations under a registered pharmacist. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and patient-focused service in a licensed setting.

The technician will assist with compounding, verification, inventory, documentation, and adherence to state rules and USP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Experience in a pharmacy setting with IV skills preferred.
• Must be able to work under supervision of a registered pharmacist.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medication orders by compounding or admixing under supervision.
• Verify orders for completeness and insurance approval.
• Admix drugs as ordered, maintaining safety and compliance.
• Calculate dosage volumes and convert units as needed.
• Maintain drug information and safety data sheets (MSDS).
• Assist with inventory control and documentation of lot numbers and expirations.
• Receive and shelve medications; assist with labeling and data entry.
