Qualifications

• Pharmacy technician licensed/certified per state regulations.
• Minimum 1 year as an IV pharmacy technician, preferably in long-term care.
• Experience with medications, IVs, and filling prescriptions.
• Data entry and insurance billing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Fill prescriptions and prepare sterile compounding per procedures.
• Enter data and ensure regulatory compliance (HIPAA, USP 797).
• Assist pharmacist with facility communications and phone calls.
• Maintain sterile compounding room and equipment calibration.
• Support long-term and post-acute care residents and high-risk patients.
