Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy Technician license as required by state.
• 6 months–1 year IV pharmacy technician experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and ability to operate a computer.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor the sterile compounding room per USP 797 and state standards.
• Prepare/fulfill prescriptions for long-term care residents and specialized patients.
• Support QA processes and documentation for compounding.
• Assist pharmacists with data entry, refills, and communication with facilities.
