Job summary

Soleo Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Technician in Hoover, AL to support our specialty infusion pharmacy. You will perform sterile compounding and clinical support under a pharmacist supervision, ensuring compliance with USP and Alabama BOP standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma and CPhT with ongoing ACPE requirements; IV room experience and familiarity with Excel/NetSuite is a plus. Competitive benefits and no weekends offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Registered/Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or as required by the BOP - Alabama in good standing.
• Minimum experience working as a technician in the pharmacy IV room of a hospital.
• Prior technician experience with a home infusion company preferred.
• Current registration and ACPE requirements are met.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Excellent sterile compounding technique.
• Basic to intermediate Excel/Office skills; knowledge of NetSuite, CPR+, Insight is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sterile preparation of IV medications under pharmacist direction, per regulations.
• Maintain compliance with USP 797/800 and state BOP regulations.
• Manage call and shipment schedules to ensure continuity of care.
• Coordinate communications between pharmacy, nursing, and reimbursement staff.
• Data entry of patient and prescription information into the pharmacy software.
