Job summary

Starling Oncology, formerly The Oncology Institute, is seeking an Infusion Technician to compound and prepare IV medications under supervision, ensuring accurate and safe preparation in a community oncology setting.

The role includes labeling, inventory, quality control, environmental monitoring, hood certification every 6 months, and cross-training in oral chemo dispensaries. In-person schedule Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm with local travel may apply.

Responsibilities

• Compounding IV medications following protocols and aseptic techniques.
• Labeling and packaging compounded meds with patient info, dosage and expiry.
• Inventory management and restocking of IV meds, lot numbers, and supplies.
• Quality control to ensure sterility and safety of all meds.
• Environmental monitoring and PPE compliance.
• Hood certification every 6 months.
• Collaborate with supervisors and cross-train in oral chemo dispensaries.
