Job summary

Clearview Cancer Institute is seeking an IV Pharmacy Technician to assist licensed pharmacists in preparing, distributing, and inventorying medications in the pharmacy department.

Responsibilities include compounding (sterile and non-sterile), accurate labeling, inventory management, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with the team. Travel to all CCI locations is required, with strong attention to detail and communication skills expected.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with HIPAA requirements is necessary.
• Strong attention to detail and organization are essential.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
• Ability to perform algebraic calculations for extemporaneous compounds.

Responsibilities

• Preparation: accurate and timely preparation of medications including sterile and non-sterile compounding.
• Distribution: receive/deliver medications, verify quantities, and manage distribution to satellite locations.
• Inventory: maintain inventory, conduct cycle counts, and place orders.
• Regulatory compliance: ensure storage and handling of drugs meet regulatory standards and document logs.
• Communication and teamwork: communicate effectively with team and departments.
