Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking an LPN to work under supervision of RN or Provider. The role delivers quality patient care, administers medications, updates plans of care, and supports patient teaching across facilities in northwest Missouri.

Required are an accredited practical nursing degree, LPN licensure, IV certification, and BLS; ACLS may be needed in Albany locations. Travel between system facilities is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited school of practical nursing or military equivalent.
• Licensure as an LPN per state requirements.
• IV certification required upon hire, BLS within 90 days, ACLS within 90 days (Albany specific).

Responsibilities

• Completes daily reassessments for assigned patients and documents findings.
• Updates and implements the plan of care.
• Reinforces patient teaching and family education.
• Administers medications and monitors patients' responses including IV fluids and meds.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Contributes to the professional development of peers and students.
• Other duties as assigned.
