The position expects the successful candidate to work with pharmacy and technical staff to define best practices and perform duties as a Pharmacy Technician as needed.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Previous pharmacy technician experience with IV admixtures preferred.
• PHRMTECH-R – Registered Pharmacy Technician with state Board of Pharmacy current registration upon hire required.
• PTCB Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Admixtures of medications to IV solutions.
• Prepare unit dose syringes and chemotherapy medications.
• Compound solutions/medications used in critical care and OR satellite areas.
• Maintain stock levels in assigned areas.
• Follow SOPs, guidelines, and state/federal regulations.
