Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document, and label drug products under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. You will handle data entry, filing, and inventory control within a dynamic hospital pharmacy.

Qualified candidates bring at least one year of experience, strong English communication, and aseptic technique skills. California licensure or intern registration is required; chemotherapy admixture experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Must have strong customer service skills and communicate clearly in English.
Minimum one year full-time experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
Must demonstrate proper aseptic techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
Must possess California Board of Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern Registration.
Experience with chemotherapy admixture a plus but not required for every shift.

Responsibilities

Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under supervision of a Pharmacist.
Complete data entry and filing related to drug purchasing and inventory control.
Participate in Performance Improvement projects and data collection for workload measurements.
