Job summary

University of California, Irvine is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to prepare, package, document and label drug products under the direct supervision of a Pharmacist. You will perform data entry, filing, and support drug purchasing and inventory control within the Pharmacy Department.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of full-time Pharmacy Technician experience, strong English communication, and a valid California Pharmacy Technician registration or intern certificate.

Qualifications

• Must have customer service skills
• Able to demonstrate proper aseptic techniques
• Hold California Pharmacy Technician Registration or Pharmacy Intern Registration
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Experience with admixing chemotherapy drugs is a plus

Responsibilities

• Prepare, package, document, and label drug products under direct supervision of Pharmacist

• Collect data for workload measurements as needed
