Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician for Baptist Nassau in Fernandina Beach, FL. This PRN role involves working in the IV room to create sterile compounds and support the central pharmacy, with responsibilities across medication preparation and inventory management.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of pharmacy technician experience, Florida registration, and flexibility for 12-hour shifts with weekend coverage. Full PPE is required throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Florida Board registration is required.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Pharmacist on duty in preparing and distributing medications.
• Fill automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose medication orders and envelopes.
• Basic reconstitution of oral suspensions.
• Maintain drug inventory and packaging of medications.
• Maintain USP 797 standards for IV admixture and TPN preparation.
• Work under supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
