Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered IV Admixt Pharmacy Technician for the Baptist South campus on the night shift, a full-time 7-on/7-off schedule with rotating weekends.

The role involves assisting the pharmacist, compounding IV medications, restocking OR anesthesia stations, and ensuring USP 797 compliance in a hospital setting. Florida Board registration and CPT preferred, high school diploma required, Driver's license required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician with 1-2 years of experience.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida Board required.

Responsabilités

• Assist pharmacist in preparing and distributing medications.
• Fill automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose orders.
• Reconstitute oral suspensions as needed.
• Maintain drug inventory and ensure USP 797 compliance for IV admixture.

This is a Full time night shift opportunity working a 7-on/7-off schedule with rotating weekends.This candidate will be working within the IV room and mainly located within the central pharmacy, creating sterile compounds and providing medications for the entire hospital as well as restocking OR anesthesia workstations and medication cabinets. This candidate must be comfortable wearing full PPE throughout their shift, working in a team environment, and being able to stand for long lengths of time.As an IV Admix Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for:Assisting the Pharmacist on duty in preparing and distributing medications.Filling of automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose medication orders and envelopes.Basic reconstitution of oral suspensions.Maintaining drug inventory and packaging of medications.Maintaining compliance with USP 797 standards in their daily duties for compounding IV admixture and TPN preparation.Working under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.Pharmacy Technician Experience:1-2 years Pharmacy Technician ExperienceSterile Compounding Experience PreferredEducation & Credential Requirements:High School Diploma RequiredRegistered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy RequiredCertified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) PreferredDriver's License RequiredThis Registered Pharmacy Technician will be located at Baptist South.
