Baptist Health is hiring a Registered IV Admix Pharmacy Technician for the Baptist South location in Jacksonville, FL. This full-time night shift role operates on a 7-on/7-off schedule with rotating weekends.

The technician will work in the IV room and central pharmacy, preparing sterile compounds and supplying medications hospital-wide, while restocking OR anesthesia stations and medication cabinets. PPE is required and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years Pharmacy Technician experience.
• Sterile compounding experience preferred.
• Registered Pharmacy Tech (RPT) with Florida Board of Pharmacy required.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPT) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Pharmacist on duty in preparing and distributing medications.
• Fill automated dispensing cabinets and unit-dose medication orders and envelopes.
• Perform basic reconstitution of oral suspensions.
• Maintain drug inventory and packaging of medications.
• Ensure compliance with USP 797 standards for IV admixture and TPN preparation.
• Work under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.
