Job summary

Q.E.D. Systems is seeking an Inventory and Warehouse Support Manager at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, Virginia Beach, Virginia. This full-time exempt role oversees warehousing functions, shipping/receiving, packing, and transportation, and requires compliance with Navy security requirements.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in warehouse inventory/packing/shipping (or 3 years with an associate’s degree) and experience operating material handling equipment. U.S.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in warehouse inventory, packing, handling, and shipping.
• Or 3+ years with an associate’s degree in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all warehousing functions including shipping, receiving, packing and transportation.
• Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Manage the ESD handling and training program.
• Provide TAC data to Government representatives.

Job Status: Full Time, Exempt – This position is a “Contingent Hire” position contingent upon a potential award of a new U.S. Navy contract to QED Systems.

Salary Range: $90,000/year- $115,000/year

Job Description: Individual will serve as an Inventory and Warehouse Support Manager. The Inventory and Warehouse Support Manager will manage all warehousing functions, including shipping & receiving, packing, handling, and transportation. The Inventory and Warehouse Support Manager will also be responsible to operate material handling equipment and transportation assets, manage the Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) handling and training program, and provide Transportation Accounting Code (TAC) data to Government representatives.

Job Requirements/skill sets: Individual must have a minimum of 5 years of warehouse material inventory, packing, handling, and shipping experience or 3 years of inventory and warehouse material experience with an associate’s degree from an accredited institution.

Security Clearance/Naval Facility Access: U.S. citizenship is required. Must be able to meet and maintain eligibility for U.S. Secret Clearance and be able to access U.S. Navy ships, military facilities, naval shipyards, and private shipyards.
