Job summary

Practice Plus Group in the United States is seeking an experienced IUC Duty Shift Manager (Clinical) to lead real-time clinical operations across our Integrated Urgent Care network. The role focuses on managing 111 and CAS queues and ensuring safe, responsive patient care across sites.

As a key clinical decision-maker, you will work with operational colleagues to manage risk, resources, and service performance, while benefiting from extensive development opportunities and staff support programs.

• Ability to manage real-time clinical operations during shifts.

Hours:37.5 hours per week

Start Date: This position is expected to commence on 1 September 2026 and is subject to the successful outcome of an ongoing Urgent Care (UC) service redesign project.

We're looking for an experienced and resilient IUC Duty Shift Manager (Clinical) to join our Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) Operational Delivery Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a registered healthcare professional with IUC/111 experience to take a pivotal role in the real-time management of clinical operations, ensuring safe, effective, and responsive patient care across our network.

As the Clinical Duty Shift Manager, you'll be responsible for the real-time management of 111 and Clinical Assessment Service (CAS) clinical queues, working closely with operational colleagues to manage risk, resources, service performance, and patient safety.

You will act as a key clinical decision-maker, providing expert guidance, managing live operational risks, supporting escalation processes, and ensuring high-quality service delivery during operational shifts.
