Job summary

EPAM Systems in the United States seeks an experienced Test Manager to own the test approach within an ITSM environment. You will lead testing activities, coordinating with project managers, business users, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technical expectations.

Responsibilities include developing the test strategy, managing the full lifecycle, defect management, test reporting, coordinating UAT, and obtaining formal business sign-off prior to release.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in test management.
• Experience working in an IT Service Management (ITSM) environment.
• ISTQB Test Manager certification.
• Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills.
• Proven experience managing the end-to-end testing lifecycle.
• Experience coordinating project managers, business users, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Experience supporting user acceptance testing and obtaining business sign-off.
• Ability to establish defect-management and test-status reporting processes.
• Hands-on experience with Xray for Jira and API testing with Postman.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the overall test approach and strategy.
• Manage the complete test lifecycle, from planning and preparation through execution and closure.
• Coordinate testing activities across project managers, business users, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Establish and maintain defect-management and test-status reporting processes.
• Track testing progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and defect resolution.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ensure test evidence and results are documented appropriately.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing and support business users throughout the process.
• Obtain formal business sign-off before test completion and release.
